With the experience I had creating a couple of videos, I wanted to create a video I had never done before, which was an Interview. what interests me about this form of video content is the story that the person shares because it gives you a glimpse of how it is in their shoes. in this case, I interviewed my cousin who was born and raised in Guyana and came to Canada in 2019 to follow his dream of being an engineer. What makes this interesting is his shift of goal, as he only wanted to get his education and return to Guyana, but stayed as he is now engaged (the video was shot before his engagement), has a job, and living a life as if he’s a Canadian citizen.
I edited and put everything together in “Adobe Premiere Pro”. Post-production is my favourite part when creating videos, as I always had a passion for editing videos ever since I was a kid. I am honestly not sure why I love this part of video production, maybe it is because I can show how creative and effective I can be in telling stories in an engaging manner to not lose my audience’s attention.
